9 Months Old

Hailey is 9 months old today. Time sure is flying, but we are enjoying every minute of it. Hailey went for her check up today and is still doing very well. She now weighs a whopping 23 lbs and is 30 inches long. ..still 97 th percentile. The doctor is very happy with how she is growing and developing. We gave her some real table food today to try. She got a few of the carrrots and peas in her mouth!

This week, I started babysitting a little 4 month old boy. Hailey and I have been going to their house to watch him. Needless to say, it isn't going to work out. It started to become too much for Hailey. We were leaving the house at 6am and last night we didn't get home until 6pm. Too much to ask of her when all she has been used to was being home with mommy. But, we learn!

We are really looking forward to all of the upcoming holidays. We can't wait to spend time with our families in Virginia and Ohio. We put our tree up this week and have started doing our Christmas shopping. My hope is to get all of the shopping done very soon so I won't have to brave the Target parking lot after Thanksgiving!!!
