Summer!

It has been quite a while since I have gotten a chance to blog. This summer has been full of fun for us. We spent most of our days swimming at the pool or at Six Flags. Since Hailey is such a tall girl, she was able to ride almost all of the kiddie rides. The also could ride a mini roller coaster, the log flume, and another "big girl" water ride. Her favorite ride was the swings. She also liked driving the trucks with daddy. We definitely got our money's worth out of our season passes this summer!

We were happy to be able to spend time with our families this summer. We spent some time up in Ohio for the 4th of July with the Motts. We had a great time seeing everyone and meeting Baby Ali. Hailey loves to play with her cousins! We also got to go on a getaway to the NC moutains with the Hughes'. It was a very nice time. We always love to be able to see our family!

We finally found a church down here that we love. We were looking for a church that not only is sound in it's beliefs, but also that had a good children's ministry. We must have tried every church in the area, but we finally found the right church for us. There are many couples around our age there and there is a very strong children's ministry. Hailey loves to go to church to see her new friends. She gets so excited to go and walks right into her class like she owns it. This has been a HUGE blessing to us!

This summer, we also learned that we are expecting our second child in February! We are so excited about it! The baby's due date is February 19th (the day before Hailey's 3rd birthday.) We find out on October 6th if we are having a boy or a girl. Hailey used to say she wants a brother. Now, when we ask her if she wants a brother or a sister, she just answers "yes!"

That sums up our summer! Now we are SO ready for the cooler weather that fall brings!
