It has been a little hard for me to get into the Christmas spirit this year. We thought it would be fun to go look at Christmas lights this weekend. I remembered when I was younger, our family used to go to VA Beach and look at the lights there. They have Christmas lights displayed on the beach, and you drive on the boardwalk to look at them. We decided that it would be a nice treat to do that this year. We drove to Richmond Saturday afternoon and stayed the night. Then, Sunday after church, my parents and us drove to VA Beach and had a great early birthday meal for me at Captain Georges Seafood. It was so good, we all (including Hailey) stuffed ourselves full! Then, we drove to the boardwalk and looked at the lights. They were really pretty. Hailey loved to look at them, I think her favorite part was being out of her carseat though! :)
Hailey also enjoyed seeing the pretty Christmas decorations and Christmas toys at Grams and Grandpa Hughes's house.
